New to church?

StAndrewSpring2012med

Welcome! We are glad you're here

Well, these are strange times and we're sorry we aren't able to give you the usual welcome and invite you to our usual services at the moment. However, thank you for finding out more about St Andrew's and we hope you will find what you're looking for here.

There are more details on our About Us page and the latest updates on our worship and services can be found below.

For more details, please look at our Together while Apart page.

Reopening our church buildings for public worship

Please read the 10 July Update from Alan for full details.
From Sunday 19 July, the new pattern of services through July and August will be as follows:

Sundays

8.00am Communion Service at St Andrew’s using a traditional liturgy and perhaps with some musical accompaniment.
9.15am Communion Service at St Mary’s with the shortened liturgy we currently use on Zoom, with musical accompaniment.
10.30am Zoom Service
7.00pm Zoom Compline

Wednesdays

10.30am Zoom Service
We are hoping that the 10.30am service at St Andrew’s will reconvene some time in September. At that time, the 8.00am will revert to being a BCP service.

The church is open for private prayer during these times:

Tuesdays 10.00am - 12noon
Fridays 2.00pm - 4.00pm

Stewards will be present to offer guidance during your visit.  Seating has been set up at the back of the church, safely distanced, so that you can spend some quiet time in prayer and contemplation.  Please do not come to the church if you are in a high-group (clinically extremely vulnerable) or you are feeling unwell or you are self-isolating due to symptoms in your household.

At St Andrew's we remain Here with you and Here for you. More details can be found on our Together while Apart page.

Whether you are new to the area or have lived here all your life, we hope this website will give you all the information you need about St Andrew's and how we are here with you and here for you during the pandemic and beyond.
