Daily Prayers

‘It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness’
During these days of uncertainty and isolation, we encourage you to pray along with others all over the country. We have produced some short Daily Prayers, which you could use during this time. There is more information here from Churches Together in England about the Prayers for Hope, suggested for 7.00pm each Sunday evening.

Do you need support?

We are keen to support the most vulnerable in our community and reach out to people, including those who may not have access to the internet for email or social media. If you feel you need support, or you could offer support, please get in touch:

A Prayer

Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy
in this time of uncertainty and distress.
Sustain and support the anxious and fearful,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may rejoice in your comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(Barbara Glasson, President of the Methodist Conference)
