Sunday 29 November
Advent Service, 7.00pm
Readings and music to help us reflect on the meaning of advent - 'Light into Darkness'. You're invited to have a candle ready to light at home. The service will be followed by an opportunity for social time in breakout rooms (you may like to have a glass of something and some nibbles ready for this bit!).
Sunday 13 December
A Blue Christmas Service, 7.00pm
A short service for those who find Christmas difficult or bittersweet, with time to reflect and an opportunity to remember loved ones.
Sunday 20 December and repeated on Tuesday 22 December
Readings and Music, 7.00pm
A service of lessons, poetry, music and images inspired by the Christmas story, followed by an opportunity for social time in breakout rooms.
Interactive Crib Service, 4.00pm
Our traditional and popular Crib Service for all ages. Please have ready a toy animal to put under your tree and a candle to light. All Christmas outfits welcome, but most especially nativity costumes. This service will include child-friendly songs, a story and prayers and it will last about half an hour. We know many families in our communities find our Crib Service an essential part of their Christmas each year, so we look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces on Zoom.
Christmas Day Communion for all ages, 10.30am
A service for the whole family - and this year, you can join in from the comfort of your own home (clad in your Christmas pyjamas, if you like!).
Sunday 10 January
Interactive Christingle Service, 4.00pm
We've decided we will hold a separate Christingle Service - to give us all something to look forward to. As usual, we will raise money for the work of the Children's Society. Feel free to make your own Christingle or to pick up a pack from either St Andrew's or St Mary's during daylight hours on Saturday 9th or Sunday 10th January.

St Andrew's Christmas Greetings
This year, perhaps more than ever, is a time to share your Christmas wishes with others. You are invited to post a Christmas message to your St Andrew’s Church family on the board displayed inside the church – there are slips of paper there to write your greeting on. If you can't get to church, please contact Phil in the Church Office and she will add your message to the board on your behalf (firstname.lastname@example.org ; 01992 504373 - Tuesdays and Fridays).
