July Coffee Morning
Saturday 6 July, 10.30am - 12.30pm
Our July event features brainteasers, quizzes and puzzles! Our nominated charity is
Race Against Dementia and so half of all funds raised will go to them (with the other half going to St Andrew's Church).
So, come along with your thinking caps on and have a go at the various fun challenges on offer, alongside the welcome selection of home baked goodies, freshly brewed tea and coffee.
We look forward to seeing you!
June Coffee Morning
Saturday 1 June, 10.30am - 12.30pm
The PCC are running our Coffee Morning in June and all funds raised will go towards the audio-visual upgrade for the church.
Among our stallholders will be Pauline Rhodes who is selling her
silk cards, posters and sun catchers and signing copies of her book to mark Mental Health Awareness Week.
There will be a second-hand book and jigsaw puzzles stall and superb live music!
May Coffee Morning
Saturday 4th, 10.30am - 12.30pm
The May Coffee Morning was run by the women of the WOW Home Group, and half of the money raised went to Cancer Research UK in memory of the late Julia Spring who was one of their number. She had a love of plants and contributed many of her own for this annual event in past years.
We were also joined by members of the Essex Organists Association and so had the pleasure of hearing a variety of pieces played on St Andrew's organ during the morning.
A total of £630 was raised, which is brilliant.
April Coffee Morning
Saturday 6th, 10.30am - 12.30pm
The men of St Andrew's ran our April Coffee Morning, with beer tombola, raffle, the ever-popular sausage and bacon butties - and cakes and bakes, of course!
Catherine Pratt from HertsHelp was with us during the Coffee Morning to share information about the work they do (helping you find independent support, guidance and information to get the most out of life).
The fantastic fundraising total came to just shy of £500, split equally between St Andrew's Church and FUTUREhope Hertford & Ware (helping young people in the local area reach their full potential).
March Coffee Morning
Help welcome spring at the St Andrew’s Coffee Morning on Saturday 2 March!
Our March event featured pop-up stalls (including Neal’s Yard Remedies and a Nutritional Therapist), children's colouring and spring flower craft, plus our popular chocolate tombola was back with an Easter theme.
A fantastic £430 was raised, with proceeds split equally between local charity
CHIPS (play and groups for children with additional needs)
and St Andrew's Church.
February Coffee Morning

Christmas Coffee Morning
With Christmas cards, gifts and decorations on sale, Raffle and live music
Run by St Andrew’s Toddler Group, our December Coffee Morning raised funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital (proceeds split equally between St Andrew’s Church and GOSH).
November Coffee Morning
We welcomed many of our local charities with their seasonal cards and gifts (Age UK - British Heart Foundation - Isabel Hospice - Keech - MIND - Scope - Willow - Hertford Museum) and Royal British Legion
Funds raised totalled £335 and were split equally between Royal British Legion and St Andrew's Church.
September Coffee Morning
We had an amazing array of puzzles and games available at our September Coffee Morning, along with a super selection of quizzes to try and new outdoor tables, too, so people were able to enjoy the beauty and fresh air in our churchyard along with their cuppa and cake.
A fantastic £455 was raised towards Isabel Hospice and St Andrew's Church. Thank you to all those who donated to the sale and to everyone who came on the day.
The proceeds raised at each Coffee Morning are split 50/50 between St Andrew's Church and the nominated charity each month.
